32 paintings
New exhibition at phoenix some truly wonderful pieces of work here.
This painting is by Joshua Uvieghara - 'Cathode deep freeze' and it is a personal favourite.
Much better to see it first hand though so do go along
There is a short essay and online catalogue for the show if you look at the Phoenix website here >>
'Merz'
Hadn't planned to go to the Schwitters exhibition but very glad that I did. The small collages were the most profound of the exhibits. The idea behind 'merz' - that all materials have equal value and can be combined on an equal footing with each other in any work is a timely reminder. I think that Chodzko and Prouvost managed to achieve this in their responses too
Highly recommended!

Klein & Moriyama

This is well worth seeing and its finishing soon - if you go I recommend you get comfortable and watch the cut pasted selection of video clips from Kleins films - they are presented as a tryptych. You won't be disappointed!
