Glad to have discovered the work of this artist, he has made copies of five deteriorated and mutilated 18th century statues from the grounds of the abandoned Château Bonnier de la Mosson in Montpellier, France. I like the way that the artist has not tried to recreate the original statues but made resin copies of the mutilated versions in 5 different colours. There has been some further mutilation of the works and additions of painted nipples etc They are looking a bit uncared for, perhaps this is appropriate?It is really worth taking a look at Allan's website:
